Prior to founding Ames Watson, Lawrence was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Blackstreet Capital where he led over 25 acquisition and investments. Previously, he worked for The Washington Post Company and the Boston Consulting Group. Lawrence is Chairman of Lids, sits on numerous Boards and has received a B.S.E. and MBA from The Wharton School. He lives in Potomac, Maryland and is married to his college sweetheart. He has three sons and can usually be found at the ice hockey rink watching them play or in the yoga studio.
