The Baker Retailing Center Welcomes L’Oréal for an Alumni Spotlight Event

On Tuesday, September 22, the Baker Retailing Center supported an Alumni Spotlight event hosted by L’Oréal. The engaging panel discussion focused on careers, innovation, and opportunities within the industry.

Featuring Cary Sellers (WG20), Head of Marketing for Pureology, Mizani & L’Oréal Technique; Noah Gilstrap (C21), Manager of Business Intelligence; Fay Shuai (C25), Maybelline DMI Global Business Acceleration; and Benjamin Do (C25), Management Trainee at La Roche-Posay, the event gave students an inside look at the diverse career paths available at L’Oréal and how an education at the University of Pennsylvania can translate into a career in the beauty and consumer industry.

The event was a tremendous success, with students completely filling the room and demonstrating strong enthusiasm throughout the evening. Attendees were eager to learn more about L’Oréal, ask questions, and hear firsthand advice from alumni about navigating their careers, building meaningful experiences, and taking advantage of early-career opportunities.

The conversation highlighted the many functions that drive L’Oréal’s success, while also providing practical tips for career growth and opportunities for students to connect with alumni.
