CVS CAREMARK CORPORATION

CVS Caremark is the largest retail pharmacy in the United States, operating over 6,100 locations across the country.  After the 2006 merger of CVS Corporation and Caremark Rx Inc., CVS Caremark is now the largest provider of prescription drugs in the United States.  The company also operates a number of on-site clinics and offers a number of prescription benefit programs.  With these amenities, CVS Caremark has taken the place of many neighborhood drugstores and manages to integrate services as a pharmacy with the merchandise of a convenience store, giving it many avenues for growth in the future, particularly in the Southwest and California markets.
